Congratulations to Paul Mulgrew of Briggs Amasco Ltd who has officially received the accolade of Apprentice of the Year 2023 from the Mastic Asphalt Council (MAC). Paul was unable to attend the MAC Awards earlier in the year so he was presented with his award from (left to right) Tony Lawther, MD of Briggs Amasco, Alfred Tufano of New City College Hackney and Dave Maginnis, MAC Board Member and Chairman of Briggs Amasco. Paul is carrying out his apprenticeship in conjunction with New City College Hackney and although he has worked for Briggs Amasco for over two decades, he is carrying out his mastic asphalt apprenticeship in his 40’s. Paul is based in Glasgow and travels from Scotland to London six times a year for two weeks at a time to attend college.
